About Us

75 and Out is a grassroots movement to limit the age of California's leaders to 75 years old via ballot initiative. That's it. No four-dimensional chess, no dirty politics, no bullshit. Thirty one states (plus D.C.) already limit the age one can be an active judge, which leaves us wondering: why not California? And why stop at judges? If the argument for mandatory retirement is to prevent leadership in cognitive decline from making poor decisions that affect people's lives in profound ways, certainly our elected and appointed officials should be held to the same standard.
